Taj One India, we believe in maintaining transparency and building trust with our travelers. We understand that unexpected situations can arise, leading to changes or cancellations in travel plans. To provide clarity and protect both the customer and our services, we have created a flexible yet fair Cancellation Policy.
Please read this policy carefully before booking with us.
1. General Cancellation Guidelines
All cancellations must be made in writing via email or WhatsApp. Verbal cancellations over the phone will not be accepted unless followed by a written confirmation. The date on which we receive your written cancellation request will be considered the official date of cancellation.
2. Cancellation Charges – Standard Tour Packages
If a customer cancels their booking:

More than 15 days before the travel date: 90% of the total booking amount will be refunded. Only 10% will be deducted as administrative and processing fees.

Between 7 to 14 days before the travel date: 50% of the total booking amount will be refunded.

Less than 7 days before the travel date: No refund will be provided as most arrangements (hotels, transport, guides, permits) are prepaid and non-refundable at this stage.

No-show or same-day cancellation: No refund will be provided, and the booking will be treated as a "No Show."
3. Cancellation Charges – Customized / Tailor-Made Packages
Custom packages involve special arrangements such as specific hotel bookings, flights, or personal tour guides. Cancellation policies for such bookings may differ depending on the terms and conditions of our third-party service providers (hotels, airlines, local transport, etc.).
We will inform you about these specific terms at the time of booking.
In general:

Some parts of the package (like hotel bookings, permits, and flight tickets) may be non-refundable.

If cancellation occurs, we will try our best to recover as much of the booking amount as possible and pass it back to you as a refund after deducting applicable charges.
4. Refund Process

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7 to 10 business days from the date of confirmation of cancellation.

The amount will be refunded to the original payment method used at the time of booking (credit card, debit card, net banking, UPI, etc.).

Taj One India will not be held responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, or any third-party service provider.
5. Modifications or Rescheduling
We understand that you may wish to modify your booking instead of canceling it. We allow rescheduling or changes based on availability and the policies of our vendors.
Modification Terms:

Any modification request must be made at least 7 days prior to the scheduled travel date.

Any increase in package cost due to date change or accommodation upgrade must be borne by the traveler.

Rescheduling may attract additional charges depending on hotel and transport availability.
6. Cancellation Due to Force Majeure
In rare cases, if your tour is canceled or postponed due to natural calamities (such as floods, earthquakes, storms), political unrest, pandemic restrictions, strikes, or any force majeure event, Taj One India will:

Offer to reschedule the tour to a future date without major penalties, OR

Provide a credit note or partial refund, depending on how much of the booking amount was already used in pre-booked services.
Please note that force majeure events are beyond our control, and refunds in such cases will be limited to the amounts we are able to recover from hotels and transport services.
7. Hotel, Flight & Third-Party Bookings

Flight and train ticket cancellations will be processed according to the respective airline or railway policy.

Hotel bookings made through third-party partners will be refunded only as per the hotel's own cancellation policy.

Some special offers and festive bookings may be completely non-refundable, and we will inform you about such cases at the time of confirmation.
8. Refunds in Case of Partial Travel
If you start your journey but have to return midway due to personal reasons, illness, or emergencies, no refund will be applicable for the unused portion of the trip. However, we will try to assist you with alternative arrangements or help with early return if required.
